About FastMed

FastMed was started in 2001, under the name Urgent Cares of America, Inc. Patients were delighted that they could finally receive consistent, high-quality, and reasonably priced health care right in their own neighborhood. By focusing on synergy, value, and an exceptional patient experience, Urgent Cares of America was able to successfully decrease the complexities and costs of health care. The savings are passed along to the patient; the outstanding medical care builds trusting relationships.

What began as a single urgent care clinic grew into the Raleigh Urgent Care Network with six urgent care clinics, and was expanded further across western North Carolina to include three more. In 2011 the family of urgent care centers expanded in to Arizona, with five additional locations.

With the success of 14 clinics across North Carolina and Arizona, Urgent Cares of America changed its name in 2011 to FastMed to more readily acknowledge medical services beyond the scope of urgent care. FastMed encompasses a full range of medical services, including family practice, injury treatment, occupational medicine, flu shots and vaccinations, and school and sport physicals. What hasn’t changed is our company’s commitment to the highest-quality medical care delivered promptly, within your community, and at a reasonable price.

As FastMed’s reputation for providing professional urgent care and family practice medicine has spread, so has our network. The FastMed family of urgent care clinics continues to grow across the U.S.

We would enjoy hearing about your experiences with FastMed so that we may continue to improve our quality of care and service. Please email us at info@fastmed.com. We also invite you to become a fan on Facebook and to sign-up for our Fastmed e-newsletter.

In the 2nd semi-final match. host Long Island defeated the New Hampshire Phantoms by a score of 3-1. Long Island defeated Jersey the next night 3-2 to capture the Eastern Conference Championship. Long Island advances to the National Final Four and faces the Laredo Heat (Southern Conference Champions) in the 1st of two semi-final matches being held in Bremerton Washington, by the host the Kitsap Pumas. The Pumas(Western Conference Champions) take on the Thunder Bay Chill in the 2nd semi-final match. The winner of the two semi-final matches will play for the 2012 PDL National Championship on Saturday, August 6th at 7:30 PM. The Championship match can be seen on FSC.
